RD Riccoboni Nominated 2019 for Outstanding Achievement In The Arts.
Historic LGBT ART hangs at The California State Capitol. Senator Toni Atkins (SD 39) and The Senate Rules Committee in Sacramento California, has selected "We Rise As We Lift Others" by San Diego artist RD Riccoboni is included in the Senate's 2017 - 2018 Contemporary Art Collection Exhibition. Each Senator is asked to select an artist from his/her district to be displayed at the State Capitol. Senator Atkins chose this painting of a historic day in Balboa Park at the California Tower and Museum of Man Building of the LGBT Rainbow Flag being hung to celebrate the Supreme Court ruling on marriage equality. This Iconic painting along with 26 other American Masters was on exhibit in Sacramento with other California artists including Don Bachardy, Wyland, E E Jacks, Jeff Soto, Ed Ruscha, & Deb Fineberg.
